2008 High School Boys Basketball
|
|
Lyle Quisenberry graciously volunteered to assist Coach McMillan this year with our boys’ basketball team. Lyle graduated high school in Pasadena, California in 1980 from John Marshall High School. His favorite sports were football and baseball, but his prowess in basketball lead him to Wylie University in Texas, where he became an All-American. After two years at Wylie, “Coach Q” transferred to Georgetown University and played on a national championship team. He played professional basketball in Europe before returning to the United States. He coached for ten years in California, at San Pedro High School and at Maranatha High School. Both teams achieved top five rankings in USA Today. Presently Coach Quisenberry lives in Oklahoma City with his family and has generously volunteered his time and expertise to our students at ASTEC. We are honored to have such an individual associated with ASTEC High School and would like to say a big “THANKS” to Coach Q for all he has done this year!
